YAY!
with just 13.95, the books which i've been eyeing for ages were mine! Freakonomics & The Tipping Point *super wide grin* buying books is such a blissful affair, made sweeter by the book voucher given by prof last term :)
for once, borders made me very happy cos Freakonomics was on great discount for both the hard cover and soft cover versions, and the Tipping Point was in stock. was dragging char up and down the aisle of borders, possibly driving her to the brink of irritation with my indecisiveness. borders had a '3 books but pay for 2' sale, and i could only find 2 books i wanted from that stack! sheesh. with just 1.5 weeks left to departure, i think my money ought to be spent on buying the travel necessities instead of books/clothes...BUT books are nourishment for the soul right??? hhaha. especially since the new li ka shing library has lots of reading corners, i'm more tempted to just spend afternoons there reading, instead of typing reports, attending meetings or packing.
speaking of reports, the ocs email notifiers are truly annoying. they are sent every day, from the point you submit the internship hours to the point you submit the internship report. grrr. procrastination already runs in my blood and it does take a good deadline to jolt me off my seat. hahaa, although i have started on the report, i'll probably only finish it hours before i fly off to xiamen.
