When was the last time you said wow and meant it?

Can you remember the feeling.of.joy and elation?

Baby R shows us day after day how beautiful the world is. She coos "wowwww" and the new things we show her. She spots the flower in a patch of.grass, she gasps at the mites flying in the sky. And she squeals with delight when we play stacky stack with her.


Baby R shows us what love is. And makes us grow as parents, as people capable of.growing in love, strength and patience. She wakes up at 12mn, just as we settled into couply time, coughing and vomits over me and on the floor. We spend the next hour soothing and cleaning a screaming unwell baby, mopping the floor, changing the sheets and washing the puke off. And we look at her as she sleeps, kiss her cute cheeks , and.say we love you so much.

And baby r teaches us endurance. Cos she needs us, just as we need her. Survive on erratic sleep, and multi task all the same ? Sure. Because if you don't care for her, how will she.do it ? But you do.it willingly and lovingly all the same .
