what's gotten into me? so wary of working on the weekends, but here i am typing work notes at 2am. guess it's because the weekend got off to a wonderful start on fri evening and i'm reluctant to have to take time off from being with kc in order to type those notes. :) funny how we do things sometimes.
we spent our 2.5 yrs anniv on friday evening chilling out at Playground - because i wanted, for dinner, to 'enjoy a burger while dipping my toes into the sand', and he gamely agreed. we didn't literally dip our toes in sand, but we were close enough to the beach. the sea breeze gently caressing our cheeks, the lights of the tankers forming sparkly dots in the far horizon, the night sky a tinge of pink.
and so it was a wonderful night.
just a burger, just a drink, just great engaging conversation and above all, just with him.
