my family's here, can you see the wide grin on my face?

 

moonie's now taller than me without having to tiptoe; he rests his arm on my shoulder instead of the other way around.

my dad has gotten a cool crew cut crop, and looking rather sporty for his age.

my mum looks more cheerful now that moonie's exams are over.

 

me? pudgier at the waist due to the milkshakes, rich portugese egg tarts and magnum ice creams. well, not exactly pudgier, but given that i dont eat such things back home, my snack intake has gotten up infinitely more here.

 

yao4 me1 jiu4 bu4 chi1, (either avoid eating,

yao4 me1 jiu4 chi1 dao1 si3 (or eat till you die! but at least your tastebuds enjoy a feast!)
