gugu's in xiamen

i hadnt expected to be so happy to meet my family.

 

gugu was in xiamen as part of a tour package, and since she was here for a mere 1.5 days, i could only meet her for lunch today. Having been away from home for 3 weeks, I was very glad to see a familiar face, and especially since she's a dear aunt to me. If only she could stay for one more day, I could bring her around this island, and she'll enjoy xiamen more than she had, since tours are usually tiring and boring. haha, but she couldn't stay, so lunch had to suffice.

 

and miraculously, my mandarin was exceptionally fluent as we conversed, and the other tour members were quite impressed! what a joke !
